Jose Luis Posos is a licensed counselor who brings significant years of experience in the areas of trauma-informed care, intimate partner violence, crisis intervention, and diversity, equity, and inclusion training within higher education. Jose received his Masters of Education from William Paterson University of New Jersey with a specialization in mental health. Jose Luis is also the conference director for the Latinx Leads Conference, a conference centered on empowering Latinx college students to become agents of social change. In addition to his social justice work, Jose Luis is the statewide clinical operations manager for the New Jersey Pediatric Psychiatry Collaborative at Hackensack Meridian Health – a grant funded program focused on integrating behavioral health into pediatric primary care and improving access to timely and appropriate behavioral health services.
