Erin Bruno, MA, has been working in the field of social-emotional learning for over 27 years, first as a trainer for the Resolving Conflict Creatively Program and currently as the Director of the Rutgers University’s Behavioral Research and Training Institute’s, Social Decision-Making Program (SDM). Erin delivers training and consultation to teachers, mental health professionals, youth, and families in the area of social emotional learning which includes skills for self- regulation, self/social awareness, problem solving/critical thinking and conflict resolution. Currently, Erin has been working with several schools developing programs for creating the trauma informed classroom and creating a climate where all staff and students thrive. Erin is also working with Rutgers Department of Psychology and Saint Elizabeth University on an online course for a social-emotional credential for teachers.
