Alisha De Lorenzo MS, NCC, LPC, SAC is a human connection expert working with individuals, schools, communities and organizations across the globe to awaken their individual and collective healing potential. Her experiences are rooted in the fields of education, wellness, mental health and social justice. She works at the intersection of social emotional learning, trauma & healing centered practices, equity & justice and individual and collective well-being. In her role, she serves individuals and groups to access innate wisdom and community capacity through love, connection, belonging and healing to cultivate more inclusive places to live, work and grow.
Alisha has worked in public education as a teacher and Student Assistance Counselor for almost 20 years. She also served as the first Social Emotional Learning Coordinator in New Jersey, designing and implementing an integrative education model.
She received her Masters degree in Psychological Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Monmouth County.
Alisha is an experienced facilitator and speaker providing quality professional development to schools and partnering with government agencies and the top educational associations across the state including NJEA, NJDOE, NJSBA, and many more.
Through her non-profit, The Living YES Foundation, she works in partnership with the New Jersey Office of Resilience to advance the work of building self-healing community models and healing centered practices at the state, county and local levels through strategic committees, initiatives and partnerships.
Alisha has been recognized by the New Jersey Department of Education, Monmouth University, the United States Army and community organizations for her dedication to the mental health field and her activism in organizing communities toward healing.
