Alisha is the Founder and Owner of Living YES, LLC. She has developed an
Integrative Education model that systemically addresses Social Emotional Learning, Trauma, Equity and well-being in education.
She is an engaging facilitator and keynote speaker who has spoken at the national and international levels. She has presented for the top educational organizations including the NJDOE, NJPSA, NJSBA, NJASBO, ASCD, and the United States Army.
Alisha has served in public education for over 16 years as a teacher, SAC, and SEL Coordinator. She currently supports schools across the country in integrating a systemic approach to well-being in education through SEL, Mindfulness, Equity, Trauma and Mental Health awareness. She earned her master’s degree in Psychological Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
She has been recognized by the United States Army, New Jersey Department of Education, Monmouth University and community organizations for her dedication to the mental health field and her activism in transforming communities. The greatest title she holds is being the mother to her two sons.
